Chasing constellations
Typing HERE you can download a lightweight program that has served me very much when I started looking at the sky.
After unpacking the package you install it by clicking on the file called MIRAPLA. At this point it appears the sky as it appears on the evening of the day today looking north. At first glance seem like a dark screen with dots scattered fairly insignificant here and there. Instead typing ENTER will recognize how those dots are transformed into constellations. With darts of course you move to the west, east to the south, and the up arrow you can observe the constellations higher on the head. Funny also the key Page Up and Page Down instead allow visual change to show how the sky changes with the passage of time looking in the same direction.
However, the easiest thing is to type ESC, and there you will see the basic guide to bring up the constellations, movements in space, time, and also decide on the day when you look at a certain part of the sky.
Obviously missing the names of stars and above - this limit is the biggest - the planets. But the software, as old as the cuckoo, it's really useful to learn to recognize the constellations.
